How is it possible that I知 unable to find a Mazda 3 on the lot?

So I am shopping around for a 2018 mazda 3 GT in white and out of the five dealerships I called none of them have it on lot and I have to wait until end of year for it to arrive in their next shipment??????

BTW I live in Vancouver BC.

Also, this is my first time buying a economy car has anyone else noticed the discounts they give are not very good compared to bmw/benz/audi etc?

I was under the impression I would be able to get a big chunk out of the sticker price but that didn't really happen.

I suppose these cars are selling like hotcakes?

economy cars obviously/traditionally don't have as much negotiation reduction as near luxury or luxury cars.

Mazda is hot so that may be some explanation.

at certain times of the year and certain economy car models can have large discounts. In the states my friend a few years back did 4,000 off a 22,000 Honda - she never really loved the car and it seems Honda produced the car and priced it with a huge discount in mind to move stock as a new version was about to be introduced.

do homework.

The '18 came out about a month ago and I think only one of the two plants (Mexico and Japan) is fully ramped up. Wait, or buy a '17, there are no changes. I had a '16 2.5L hatch with a manual. It's pretty slow and didn't get very good mileage. Enjoying my replacement GTI significantly more, if you don't mind VW trying to kill the earth and all that.

Yeah I would have bought the 2017 but they are all sold out here. Actually the 2018 have a nice gunmetal rim VS the silver one on the 2016s i think.

Did you get any great discounts on it? The only cool thing was the 0% lease or finance. But its not really a discount since everybody gets it.

I got mine for $500 over invoice, which I think was about $2,200 USD under sticker.

I got 24.0 mpg in pretty much all city driving. It would get 34ish on highway trips, but that was moving pretty quickly.

I bought a 2015 Mazda3 for my son a couple of years ago. Great little car, with surprisingly good driving dynamics.
