Perfect, thanks. Think I may have found the sweet spot on how to put the phone on the charger, so going to persevere with it for another week or so first before dumping it

Out of interest, where did you run the cable for the MagSafe charger to?

Did you find a way to get it into the armrest and into the USB C socket that's in there?

I used a 12v socket like this and tapped it into the underside of the existing power port that's between the cupholders.

Then plugged one of these into the new socket and plugged the MagSafe into the new usb c port:

Does the NFC still work for digital key and driver profile recognition if an aftermarket charger is placed over the top?

Looking back at my order paperwork, I see
"Z6W Deletion of Wireless Charging".

But, this option code isn't on any of our cars looking at the ETK decoder. Which suggests the deletion was removed prior to build :/

Yes that's what I've found too, does that mean they removed the deletion and they should have wireless charging after all?

I asked my sales advisor on Friday about this as wireless charger has reappeared on the configurator with Tech Pack. He suggested that it would need to be re-added to the order which would probably result in delays to build at this stage.

Hopefully it’s being added by factory anyway to reduce the number of omissions.

Will be keen to hear what is happening with recent / imminent builds.

All being well mine should go into build in around 3 weeks time.

My build date was 14/12/21 and I have this in my car - it looks very much like the wireless charger but it doesn't function! I would've thought if the charging had been deleted then I would got a blank plate or just the nfc plate. I have emailed my dealer and waiting to hear back

For what it's worth, both the wireless charger and the HK hifi have been added back to the online configurator for the non-M 3 series. Hopefully I can get them added to my ordered but not built G21!
