Winter wheels

Hi,

I've done a lot of searching and can't get a definitive answer so was hoping there might be some advice out there. I'm looking at buying a set of wheels for my G21 MSport Pro. It currently has 791M 19s fitted and I'm looking at 790M 18s. Would these fit okay over the brakes and does anyone have any experience of aftermarket TPMS valves?

18s will fit over M Sport brakes. I had a set of winters on my F32 440i mainly because it was s-drive despite a very mild winter. Didn’t bother with winters for the M440i because it was a) X-drive and b) it was another very mild winter. If the weather is really bad I don’t bother going out!
My winters were genuine BMW wheels and tyres (which I got at a good discount) so came with fitted TPMS valves anyway.

I read somewhere that some 18s fit and others don’t. There’s a thread somewhere from a couple of years ago in the main G20 forum (not this UK specific one) with details of which fit, and some that don’t.

I saw that thread but there's nothing about the 790Ms, so was wondering if anyone had some specific experience.

790m wheels 100% definitely will fit - BMW fit them as standard on the 330 models which have the M-sport braking system as standard

Yes indeed - I have a set and ran them last winter with no problems at all.

Thanks for all your advice. I've found a set in good condition on eBay. Now just to sort sensors.
