I have a ‘21 M340i, not modified in any way, I would say I drive it briskly but very rarely hard. It’s almost impossible to do that legally in the UK anyway.

Today I found myself on a straight, flat, empty country road with 1/4 tank of fuel, and thought I’d see what it could do 0-60. I couldn’t believe what I saw, so I did it again as I thought there was something wrong with the app (Race Timer)



I was in Sport Plus, Sport gearbox and TV turned off.

To get a valid acceleration time, you need to measure your acceleration with a proper gps device, like dragy/racelogic etc. Apps for your phone to measure acceleration using your phone gps are far from accurate, which is most likely the case here, if you are sure car is stock. Stock m340 go around 3.8-9 0-60 at best

That would explain a lot! I’m not that committed to buy a piece of gear.

I bought the car from a dealer as a demonstrator so pretty sure it is not modified.
