Must-Have Interior Mods?

First time BMW owner, taking delivery of my 2020 M340i on Friday. Already thinking about mods. Starting with cosmetic changes for the interior, what are some things you guys and girls can’t live without inside your G20s? Thinking about going for an OEM+ sort of look, playing into the M colors. Thanks so much

Not sure if it wouldn’t count, but coding in red and blue or just red. Tiny changes, carbon fiber interior trim, cushioned knee pads (you’ll understand why lol)

I've done a few things to my 435i but it's old and needed. If I ever get my M340i I don't think there is much to do. I just need an iphone holder and maybe floor mats.

Why are you waiting for delivery? Did you buy the car online or out of state?

Sounds like a great mod. Did you do it yourself? Any part number available?

Part numbers depend if you have heated steering or not.

I used paddle shifters to order mine and select the correct options

Did you had to remove the airbag to replace the lower trim? Any instructions available?

Yes you need to remove the airbag.
The upper and lower trim are screwed together and the cables of the buttons run through the lower trim.

I bet there´s a video of Kies on Youtube about removing the airbag.

I would totally buy them again!
Still very nice.

I already looked for some magnetic shifters.
I found some i like but they´re very pricy...
So i´ll stay with the Paddleshifterz

I put this in another post but this interior trim. Really gives a finished look to the lower dash.

Infinite Autowerks has a lot of good quality interior parts for good prices. they have full carbon kits, ambients, m1 m2 retrofit etc. i love my complete steering wheel from them. changes the car!

Not the person who originally posted this but I believe it is the multifunctional butttons on the steering wheel just in the same metallic finish as the dash surrounds etc. Which on a stock wheel would remove the contrast of the black buttons, since the wheel already has that finish.

Do they make this for the LCI, we get fewer buttons
