I would do the same but

1) I only have 1 car ( ‘21 m340i)
2) DHL gets a bad rep for damaged shipments and/or lost shipments so I’d worry that I wouldn’t have a DME anymore so that would be quite an issue.

Looks like a lot of people are hesitant of this idea now on the Supra forums due to Russia/Ukraine tensions. Your bosch ECU might end up installed on a Russian tank or spy plane.

I've read the same and really can't blame anyone hesitant to send their cars DME to Russia right now. Perhaps this will light a fire under our own state side Russian Alex owner of Mission Performance to bring his offering to market or maybe push Femto to license their solution state side.

^ I don’t see how such laws could be legal. Cracking the DME and modding the programming is, in a sense, no different conceptually to taking out the turbos and putting in bigger ones.

Once you own the car, the car is yours. It no longer belongs to BMW. So why can’t you change the programming, as long as you can pass emissions testing ?

Judging from our experience - DHL is the best, no damaged parcels, some of the carton boxes was travelling back and forth multiple times and staying in the perfect condition.
