As i'm getting bored I went and checked my "production date" again - it switched from 1-29 to 1-30.

Interestingly my order status code is "165" - This matches what the Genius told me (that it was on the way from the factory to the port since 2/1)

Do any of yours have a different status code at this point?

Mine is 165 and my PROD date stayed the same 1/26.

I am also status 165, I called genius today and she just told me as of 1/27 that my car was waiting at a warehouse for a ship to board onto. Matches up with when my status changed to rft.

Does this mean that people with cars going to the east coast could possibly be on one of these? Fingers crossed for Veracruz!

I’m in Milwaukee and my dealer is in Appleton, Wisconsin.


Side note: This is so different than my last 2 X4 orders that took a total of 4 weeks from start of production to being at the dealership lol

I've been RFT since 1/23. I haven't called genius, but I'll just assume my car is waiting for first batch of 2024 orders to be completed. I placed my order back in December, with the expectation of an early March delivery. I did get my hopes up a bit when I went RFT on the 23rd.

I am assuming your last X4 was US production which is way shorter delivery time.

Mine had shifted back and forth between 1/25 and 1/26. Still at 1/26.

Yeah, if it's an X4, it's built in South Carolina and would likely be put on a train or directly on a truck. So, you don't need to wait on a boat at least.

Edit: called genius and it is on the Glovis Sirius, scheduled to arrive in NJ 2/22

Figured I'd give genius a call. They said the car it's on the Glovis, and is expected in Baltimore on the 17th. So it's looking that way.

Crazy how behind the tracker is. I just assumed my car was sitting at the port since 1/23, but I guess it's been in some form or transit since 1/27.

This ship did go to Altamira and not Veracruz. This means 3 series go to Altamira too. Thats new

I just called and she said mine is In Transit but also said it has not been assigned a vessel. But they told me that it hadn’t been assigned a vessel when it was on Ready for Transport. So now I’m confused, is it in transit or not?

Genius have the in transit term also as transportation from factory to port.

Got it, yes I just called again and got someone else who provided more info. She said there will be a second in transit status. Guess mine missed being on the ship with yours. I think I was 1 day behind you when it flipped to ready for transport.

The ship, Dione Leader, which is the next scheduled ship that’s going from Lazaro Cardenas to Port Hueneme arrived at the anchorage outside of the port in Lazaro Cardenas 2 days ago.

Since then, it’s just sat there. Hopefully it’s just waiting before heading into port to wait on the arrival of all of the current West Coast cars. Its schedule had it arriving in Port Hueneme on the 11th which if it loads up today, it may make that time since it has no stops in between.

Small update...

NYK line just updated their schedule to show it arriving in port today. So, hopefully it will get it in and get our cars loaded today.

Strange thing is that the arrival schedule for Port Hueneme, which is the next port for it, doesn't show it on their arrival schedule. Not sure if that means anything or not though. We'll have to probably wait a day or two after it leaves port to know if our cars got on it.

Check again in a day or two. I've seen others where even the Genius line folks didn't know a car was on a ship but then after another day or two it does show up as being on it.

I'd say there's still a chance you made it on.

It looks like the DIONE LEADER has actually moved into the port now - Hopefully loading our cars up as we speak Gentlemen.

Hopefully we see it heading for California soon.
