I'm thinking of swapping out the diamond grille for the traditional slat grille on my M340. First, I think I like the slats better. Second, cleaning road salt out of the diamond is a true PITA.

Anyone got pics of this mod? Would be cool to see it straight on if possible.

I take out mines.. it as been sitting down in my storage over 1 year now.

That looks sharp as hell. Is the one on the car the same that you showed in the standalone pic? It looks like the one on the car is solid behind the slats.

I did this with mine. eBay M5 style double slats, and 3D printed the logo to fit in (non removable unfortunately)

How did you get the grille with the cerium grey? The only ones I’ve seen with the m5 style are all black.. I feel like I’m one of the few that actually likes the cerium

I got the grill off of eBay (Here's the link to that). The grill is actually two parts - the surround, and the actual grill in the center. You can pop out the grill to mix and match, just go very gingerly to each tab and it'll come right off.

I had my brother-in-law 3D print the logo to fit within the bracket. First cut of the actual print, and I colored it in with some Sharpie. Holding up surprisingly well, but I'll see how the summer treats it. The grill came with an M3 logo to stick in there, which I stuck onto a shelf instead because upbadging should be punishable by law lol.
