Windshield Wiper Noise

I am currently experiencing an issue with my windshield wipers on my 2020 M340I. When the wipers first begin to operate, they function as designed (smooth and quite), but after a few minutes of operation the wipers begin to function rough & rigid. I thought the issue might be the wipers so I replaced the units with new BMW units less than 14days prior but with no avail.

Anyone have any suggestions - wiper alignment and/or timing incorrect, faulty components, etc.?

I contacted a SA at the local dealership, and he stated this is not an issue and should be attributed to physics (rubber/silicone on glass = friction) - uhhhhh, I am at a total loss for words at this point!
