Cannot connect to apps

Having two issues here with 11/2020.50 the "new" update that just got installed on the car:

1. Can't for the life of me get the Apps to connect on my Galaxy S21 Ultra, I have all BT/Wifi enabled and somehow Wifi is connecting but the apps are not (makes no sense) tried removing my phone completely and adding back and no luck. Android auto works fine via wifi
2. Whenever my phone is connected to the car via wifi I cannot get any mobile data even though both are connected, super annoying.

Any ideas on how to fix these?

I do see a strange thing when I add a new device with Wifi/Internet options it's adding the same phone twice and then it disappears quickly.
So if the normal device is called XXX's S21 Ultra it adds XXX-s-s21-ultra for a split second.

Ok got the apps to connect by doing this:

- Rename the phone to something without symbols or spaces
- Forget the wifi connection to the car
- Delete the device from the car completely
- Add it again Bluetooth and Wifi
- Make sure you disable internet access and the wifi hotspot in the car as that was the issue

One very annoying and stupid issue remains, mobile data still doesn't work for me while the phone is connected to idrive.
There has to be a way around that (without forcing mobile data to always on)
