Congratulations!

Looks like at least 4 of us that are posting here are on the same ship. I think I am the only one getting off at Brunswick.

The hardest part in my opinion is over. Still waiting, but now at least manageable.

Just a quick update.

Car arrived at Port of Brunswick about 7am on 4/25, via the Glovis Clipper. According to the Genius, should be at my dealer 5/3. (hope they can beat that) According to Google maps, its about an 8 hour drive from the port to my dealer.

Getting closer all the time!

Great news. Hope they can get it to you by Saturday so you can enjoy it over the weekend.
The ship still looks on time for Newark on 5/3 so hopefully I have mine in 2 weeks. New pads, polish and ceramic are on the way.

Jealous of all you east coasters. My car finished production right with some of you around April 9th but the next ship for west coast isn't until May 4th.

Ugh! I feel your pain! I’m sure the time is just dragging for you, but your car will be there before you know it. (I know, easier said than done ). It’s worth the wait, that’s why we order them ( but it’s painful sometimes!)

I know you are watching the Glovis Clipper like a hawk!

I thought about doing the ceramic, but I don’t want to screw anything up. I need to educate myself on that process

For those on the Glovis Clipper waiting for it to reach NJ the expected arrival date has been changed to next Wednesday 5/5.

No shock, it just stopped in Philly then has to navigate back around into the Chesapeake into Baltimore stop in two ports there, then back around Delaware and up to Newark, not the most straightforward circuit. But soon.

BMW Genius said my car would be at the dealer on 5/3. It arrived this morning! Pickup tomorrow. Still working on the what time.

It didnt take long at all in Brunswick. Arrived about 7am Sunday, and arrived at my dealer Thursday AM. (about an 8 hour drive)

I will try to post a couple of pics tomorrow.

To all you guys on the Glovis Clipper, hang in there!

I would keep an eye on RCC Asia and RCC Amstersdam, both of which are currently at Altamira.

Great! How did you find the info about a vessel?

You can find the sailing schedules for the RCC Asia and RCC Amsterdam here: https://sallaumlines.com/schedules/us-to-west-africa/

However, this doesn't match up with what's on the NJ/NY Port Authority Arrivals website: https://www.firstnynj.com/first/vess...ule-search.cfm

That's where it shows the RCC Amsterdam arriving on 5/17 with BMWs, however, that doesn't match up with the Sallaum Lines scheduled arrival of 5/23. Port Authority also doesn't have RCC Asia at all despite Sallaum Lines showing it as stopping point on 5/15.

If you look on https://www.importinfo.com, you can see full manifests of ships unlading at US Ports, including the Foreign Port of Lading. For BMW, it looks like the only port of exit in Mexico, according to these manifests, is Veracruz. That means that either of these ships needs to go to Veracruz after their current stop in Altamira to pick up the cars. However, RCC Amsterdam was already in Veracruz on 4/24, where it should have picked up my car that's been sitting there after missing the Glovis Clipper by probably just a few hours. It then arrived in Altamira on 4/25 where it has been anchored since. I'm hoping that the Port Authority website is correct and RCC Amsterdam will go back to Veracruz after it's done at Altamira and then make its way up the coast
