It's been a while since I coded anything and just updated the idrive to 11/2020.50 along with latest psdzdata
Which is the correct one to pick from the list for my FW, the first entry?

I don’t know if anyone has ever encountered this but I have a new US spec G01 recently purchased from Germany and shipped to me in the UK. Struggling with the issue of getting my new UK spec rear tail lights to work on my US spec car and just found out from the dealership they won’t do the coding to make the lights work?!?! (turn signals to work with amber UK spec lights). Soooo I guess I’m going the route of coding it myself.
Anyone else ever have this US to UK spec issue with the taillights? Already went to three dealerships.

Use bottom (newer) Target without _DIRECT.

We have been able to separate the brake light and turn signal on US spec cars with US spec lights, perhaps that will work for UK lights too. There is another thread in this sub forum with all the coding details

Hi Shawn, hope you are well.

So after having no OTA updates in my G20 for months I've just had 2 in 2 days. They installed successfully though don't appear much different. I'm now on 11/2020.50

Of course the updates have wiped the coding I did a few months back using EsysX. Do I just need to update my psdzdata? I can't remember how to find the version number of it? Could you provide a link to the latest please and instructions to update? My Esys version is 3.27.1 if that's still ok.

So from my understanding looking at the changelogs and EsysX site, when the iSTEP updates and new psdzdata is needed, EsysX will require an update too in order for it to read the mappings properly and not trim the codes. Wondering if I have understood that correctly and what others have experienced?

Unlikely. If you read an ECU, and CAFD is Trimmed, then you need E-SysX update. Until then, don't worry about it.

Read ECU and if CAFD Contents shows on dots (...) and no descriptive text, it's Trimmed.
