Free electric

Just ordered a new mineral grey 330e touring.
Do BMW give you any free public electric for first year?

BMW? give away something for free?

Certainly didn't for me.

We signed up to the free 3-month BP Chargemaster membership but doubt we'll continue it after the trial period. Used it about 4 times in the last month and a half so the savings per charge will probably not cover the monthly cost.

I'm not convinced that public chargers are much use with a 330e. Because it takes several hours to 'fill the tank' I think overnight home charging is more sensible.

If you plug in while you do your Tesco shop you might get the charge for two miles.

The only public chargers that can help would be ones at hotels. That said I’ve used the free ones at tesco, esp if I’m out seeing clients and it’s lunchtime, you get a good 6/7 miles charge in an hour or so.

I got this today after a full charge which didn't seem too bad at all especially after reading some people's experience with range!

17.3kWh/100km, 3.56miles/kWh is a good figure... potential for over 35 miles from the 10+kWh available.
