Safety Camera in ID7

I purchased it a couple of days ago. Shows in my booked services but no App as SRBS73 has above... any ideas? Isnt showing up in that part of the vehicle

It offers it for my G21 but not for my March 128ti which has ID7 and live cockpit pro also, so seems strange?

Mine's early Feb 2019 and I purchased the cameras this afternoon, updated the apps when I got in the car to come home and it appeared on the app page.

Was quite surprised it alerted me to 4 of the 6 speed cameras on the M6 around Wigan that were installed about 3 weeks ago due to them starting the Smart Motorway upgrade on that section.

Nice big alert on the HUD, started off at 0.25mile away and then increments of 200ft if I remember correctly.

I tried to book this for my wife's 118i but wasn't available.

Have you updated the app page?

When I got in the car, the iDrive had the data & privacy screen on so I knew something was happening so I went to the app page, updated the apps and it appeared after a good 30 secs of it updating then a couple of minutes later I got a notification pop up about new Privacy & Data.

Hmmm. Tried to buy this for my Oct 2019 330e, which has ID7, and its saying that its not compatible with my vehicle......?

Anyone know why, or if this is software dependent? My car has updated to 07/2020:54 today, so don't know if that's relevant?

How do I update the apps? Howe do i force update? Can only see remote upgrade in the settings menu.

Press the App button ahead of the Rotary iDrive controller under the HOME button (looks like a globe)

Press OPTION, under the controller and it should pop up on screen the option to update the apps.

To be honest, mine appeared straight away after I updated but G Series has been known to be finnicky where updates are concerned. Have you got the RingGo app? I noticed that appeared as well today.

This is really getting odd now, almost as if they have randomly chose which VIN's get it and which don't

I have the same. Purchased when it was first available. Performed app update. Listed as booked service but no app.

Yep this is ALEXA all over again, but this time we’ve all paid £20 for nothing , my dealer is definitely getting a rant tomorrow, I bet it is software version depending to actually work..

Mine is showing in the app section of the car but it didn't pick up a single speed camera on the way home from the supermarket - 4 average cameras and one fixed camera around the corner from my house that has been there since god were a lad

I did about 5 times still nothing, it shows connected drive website online and in the car as booked services as booked, had email confirmation from BMW but still no app showing..?
