B48TU is a downsized B58TU so it should be fine pushing up to 340hp flywheel.

Thats not bad for a 4cyl. I was just reading up on the new M235i and that one produces 300 but there's all this mumbo jumbo about forged this and that. That got me thinking about the reliability of pushing the the stock B48.

M135i has a lower compression ratio, it can handle low quality fuel despite 306hp. A 330i would need 93/98 if youre doing over 300.

Just purchased BM3.

Will be flashing tomorrow if my OBD ENET cable arrives.. Hopefully won’t be running into any issues. I’ll be going with Stage 1 w/ 93 Octane, and I’ll be comparing the experience with JB+ which I’m currently running.

I do have several concerns regarding BM3 Stage 1 on B48 though, if anyone can help me out, that would be great.

1) Will running a mild burble tune with stock DP ruin my cats or turbo? I know that aggressive burble tune with stock DP will kill cats, but how about mild burble tune?

2) Will running JB+ on top of BM3 do anything? Also, will it be safe?

I wouldnt run a burble tune, cats are expensive. And running a jb+ would trick the engine management running way too much boost if youre on bm3.

Thanks for the response. I decided to go with OTS burble setting and took out my JB+ before flashing with BM3. Haven't had the time to drive the car since I went stage 1 but will post again when I've driven it for a bit.

They are claiming gains after turning for the 330i bmw g20 of 350 hp and 50 N meters of torque.
Armada Performace.
And others down here as well.
Is it a scam not too sure...
