It is mostly okay from the side. I am not a fan of the wheels but so what. The grill came out slightly less hideous than the concepts BUT it is still hideous, especially on a car without a need for large amount of air.

I am a fan of PHEVs and BEVs and I was hoping for something attractive. Time will tell whether SHOUTING is a good way to sell luxury cars. It is not for me.

The Autogefuhl guy always mentions "animal skin" in his walkarounds, but he spent like half of the video talking about it here. With everything there was to talk about, don't waste half your time on editorializing and pushing your agenda on us, guy.

Does anyone know what creative agency shot the first commercial? Very well done.

In my humble opinion, the Oscar for the most memorable car commercial belongs to Crispin Porter + Bogusky agency who shot VW's "VDub in da house" or a parody of MTV's Pimp My Ride. These commercials were directed by Jonas Åkerlund.

This design is definitely growing on me. Might as well embrace the change.

"We wanted to evoke the feeling of catching Coronavirus whenever you look at the kidney grills of our new cars."

I am joking. They are hideous though.

I think this electric car will sell extremely well if not overpriced. Really like the curved high definition dashboard/screen! Everything looks really ergonomic, nice and sleek.

The negatives are the tacky Lexus gold color, the supersized kidney grills which are not even necessary anymore, the two hockey sticks exterior design elements, and the funky ugly rims. Personally don't want a solid glass roof, I prefer a metal over my head in case of a rollover.

Otherwise about time BMW!

Well folks - this is how you run a successful company into the ground.

Tesla / Porsche is salivating for all the new BMW buyers.....

Let’s not overreact. I’m 99% sure this car will sell in Europe and Asia like hot cakes. Not everybody wants to drive around in a frog-faced Tesla with an interior that’s basically reduced to a massive Mac screen.

So, this is a commercial about millennials, for millennials, that revolves around them driving a car they likely can't afford (maybe combined their money to rent one?) just so they can deliver a broken coke mirror?

Basically the front looks like a Bugatti Chiron but with two nostrils.

I do not like the design. Looks like a copy of a Tesla with the glass roof and simple interior. BMW should pick a design language and stick with it. It is a no for me.

That grill design looks ok-ish every time we look again.

He jumped the shark for me when he started hating against real leather, which to me is a very nice natural product.

Animals will be born and die. Why waste their skin.

Beautiful car! I like it a lot. Too bad that it is too late for me after 9 BMW's. This week I am ordering a Tesla 3 to replace my 540i coming off the lease on April 27. Tesla 3 is far ahead of the current BMW electrified offerings, Although admittedly BMW design is better and the Tesla cabin is spartan. BMW after a great start at electrification definitely dropped the ball for years and got lapped by Tesla. It is great to see that BNW is bringing out what appears to be a superb electrified car.

What is under the hood? A small electric motor? That is the bizarre part of this design plus the front grill is a mindless, unnecessary tattoo on the car. Just embrace reality and get rid of the notion that an unnecessary appendage is beautiful.

Undoubtedly, Tesla leads the industry for battery/motor/overall EV powertrain. I just hope you are not as picky as I am about build quality. I walked in to a Tesla showroom, carefully reviewed the Model 3 they thought good enough to display, and left shaking my head.

You mean massive body roll, a steering system that is not connected to the front wheels, and the engine note played through the speaker system?!?!?!?!
