added wireless charging tray and coding for phone reminder

I installed one in my 2020 330i. just turned it in (lease) and bought a 2023 with one installed. so i have one to sell that works fine. easy to install and code via bimmercode. works great. dm me if interested in buying

Did your 2020 have the connector to plug into the bottom of the tray when you installed it?

you just change plug on bottom from one that is with the nfc pad.

Ah, OK. My NFC was deleted due to supply chain issues (pandemic or war in Ukraine, not sure which). It seems that with the NFC delete BMW didn't install the cable with the plug.

Unless anyone out there recommends otherwise, I think I’ll purchase a new “Charging Device 619900, Part # 84-10-5-A3E-813” and swap it out with my factory NFC pad. Appreciate all the great info on this thread.

The LTE compensator #2 is to boost the cellular signal. It isn't needed for charging. I would like to add the compensator as well. Does anyone know where this usually is installed and if the wiring harness is already in place?

I am trying to do this on a g23 430i... I cannot for the life of me get the old NFC-only tray removed. It seems to be anchored somehow. Anyone know how to do about doing this?

edit --- there are two downward facing tabs on the front plastic. i had to pull them towards me a significant amount while simultaneously moving the tray upwards. if all 3 things are not done carefully it doesn't budge.

It is not, my 23 m340i didn't come with NFC and there's no harness to connect it to. i swapped from a g80 to my m340i

When changing the charge pad out do I need to take out all of the trim around the shifter? Or do I just need to take cupholder up and then will be able to get old pad out? Vehicle is 2022 m440i coupe.

You can only remove the cupholders and be able to access the wireless charging station.

I successfully installed wireless charging pad in my 330i (2019), coded through the bimmercode app and everything works fine

, previously I had pad only with nfc.
