3 series can be from Mexico or Germany, all 4 series coming from Germany as far as I know.

My Gran Coupe was built at the Munich plant and is currently at the Bremerhaven port. All the 4's are built in Germany.

Granted your original order was placed before mine, but there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to how these cars get on a ship. It's really annoying. Glad you'll be getting your car soon though. I bet I don't see mine until mid September at this rate.
It may depend upon where your car is being offloaded (probably Baltimore or Davisville RI). Mine will be delivered to the port at Brunswick GA for a FL delivery. From my understanding, not all vessels travel down the eastern seaboard and stop at every port. My car is on a vehicle carrier called Brooklands.

My port of entry is Baltimore, and thankfully there is a VPC there.

Finally on a vessel as of late last night!!! Called Genius line and unfortunately they did not have the name yet but I'm guessing it's the Hawaiian Highway as it arrived in Bremerhaven yesterday. If that's accurate my car should be in Baltimore on or around 8/9. Finally some movement!!!

Did your status update on BMW or did you call the Genius Hotline and confirmed from them?
