Seriously though, this team is crazy inconsistent. 44 freshmen and sophomores will do that! Our receivers don't seem to understand how to get open, and the O-line are half sophomores, we'll get better.

Anyways, future is bright at Ohio State. #2 recruiting class coming in next year after 2 consecutive top 3 classes. We'll be back, we'll always be back.

We do lose the nation's best LB and Safety to the draft though.

There are some teams in CFB that knows how to keep it going, but it's much tougher. The amount of booster money and TV access these days is leveling the playing field across more schools now. Ex: Louisville, Boise State, Utah.

Traditional powers like Miami, ND, Texas, Florida, Nebraska knows how hard it is.

It comes down to the right coach and getting the 2-3 consecutive recruiting classes to turn it around. There are some teams that really struck gold with coaching transitions like FSU, Ohio State, but there are a ton of schools that couldn't get it right after a successful coach leaves.
