Just talked to dealer and got production number for week 28 for 2023 M340i xDrive loaded. VIR has status 112 at this time. Hopefully see the car in the beginning of August.

Did you place an order today? Or did you have an existing 2022 order that was transferred over to 2023?

hopefully my dealer gets to work, my 2022 flipped to a 2023, sent them my updated spec and they said "gotcha"

Next time I’d advise use a broker to help you get a dealer with an allocation or call up several dealerships and ask specifically if they have an allocation (status 112) cos more than likely your dealer just put your order in and was waiting for an allocation. You gotta make sure your dealer has a 112 status and not a 105.

I’ve had an allocation and a production number since February. The problem is the car just kept getting delayed each time it was scheduled for production.

It was a loaded M340i, but to be honest with you it was nothing different really from the order you placed. Actually seeing your post last night encouraged me to go to another dealership and place another order. I’ll keep you posted if the other one moves quicker

Hi Frank, could we get an update on your order. I am also trying to place an order for 2023 M340i. Dealers around here (CT) say that they have to put in request with BMW ordering bank. Maybe the dealers are higher volume in your area. But the dealers near me CAN'T promise I will get a car by Dec. 31. Any advice is appreciated.

I live in CT and work with every major manufacturer as my day job as a marketing/inventory specialist. BMW and Mercedes dealers suck A$$ in CT.

Go out of state, you'll find a dealer with an allocation in MA, NYC/NY easier. Got my 2022/23 M340i with a scheduled production date within mins, compared to all the CT dealers saying "we don't have allocations but we can put you on the waiting list"

My family and friends have bought 50 cars over the past 10 years. All of them are out-of-state purchases.

Try BMW of Ridgefield , as at June 14th they had like 4 m340i allocations. Goodluck

New County BMW here in CT is MSRP & Habberstab BMW is 1k over MSRP last I checked in May
