Monthly Lease Price on 430xi

Hi,
What effective monthly lease quotes are you getting for a 430xi Coupe recently these days?
I am being quoted $900+ per month, sign and drive, $0 down, 12k/36mo, priced at MSRP ~$52,000, with loyalty and corporate fleet discounts.... What can I do?
What BMW model lease is reasonable and worth it now? TYIA

You’re better off buying in this market. There’s next to no incentives, the residuals are lower than they have been in the past, the money factor is high and there’s not much room off MSRP.

Better to buy a new BMW now or just pay off my current BMW?
Thanks!

Hard to say. Guess it depends on what you owe on your current one, what you can get if you trade it in, etc.

My wife’s lease is up soon on her’s, and when I run number it just doesn’t make a lot of sense to lease versus buy.

Pay off on current 2019 BMW 330i is $33,000. So far paid $16,000 during lease (36 months).
A new 430i is about $50,000. Lease is about ~$900/month.

Do you have any equity in your 330 you could apply to the 430? That may help a bit.

Yeah, you're in a tough spot. I'd have a hard time paying almost $900 a month for a 430i. I know the market is different, but I only pay $600 something a month for my M340. You may be better off you buying out the 330 and hanging tight for a bit to see if this changes.

$900 for a $50k car is insanity....

The market will change back, only question is when. I'm reading/hearing a lot about repos going up fairly dramatically for cars bought in 2020 and 2021.

Only realistic answer between these 2 options is buyout current lease and wait for better times to buy/lease.

Remember, in a 'normal' market a 1% lease pmt is a decent target. So a $50k car might lease somewhere near $500/mon. That's still high in my book, but its a basic rule of thumb, especially for cookie cutter (non-M, non-AMG, etc) cars like a 430/440.

Thanks! My friend leased a base 430xi coupe ($50K) in March 2021 for $650 and that was the best deal he found...

Even that is high. I leased my M340xi in March 2021 and am at that with ridiculous Chicago taxes. You’re better off buying.

We bought our 2020 M340i out this week. We were paying $711 and couldn't justify a $900-1000 payment for the same car. This is the worst time to lease. Buy or wait it out.

Either, depending on how much you want the 430. Just a bad time to lease really, regardless of brand.

Would be foolish to lease in this current market. 900/month for a 430i is definitely not worth it. I'd buy out your current 330i. That is what I will be doing in the next month or so as my lease is coming to an end.
