Alpha One Amp - Bimmertech

Looking into buying the alpha one amp to upgrade the base HiFi system. Upon checkout, I see they want $99 for ASD deactivation coding. Is this necessary if I have BimmerCode already? If I can just use BimmerCode, is it as simple as deactivating the ASD or do I need to go into expert mode to modify the coding?

You can just use bimmercode to disable it. I did that with mine.
