I saw someone say there was a difference on a post about an aftermarket LED/carbon insert that looks like this same part. I wonder if there are small differences in angles. Just don't know how to check to be sure.
FWIW there was a guy on a UK G20 FB group selling his because they were for a LHD car and he wasn't able to install on his RHD.

Did this mod with my M340 and it definitely looks great and is a nice touch to the interior.

Bumping this thread. Really interested in the leather knee pad trim piece. Am I correct that these are sourced from an m440 and not an M3? Trying to find the parts in Oyster leather to match my interior, and the parts guy I talked to said the part number I gave him (which I pulled from this thread) was from an M3 and he could see all the M3 colors, but since the M3 doesn't come in an Oyster interior it wasn't available to order.

Yes, but the reports were that this is just the hard plastic pad covered in alcantara, so no real improvement from a comfort standpoint. The leather ones are padded.

Very nice! That is now a legitimate option. I still wish I could find it in oyster leather!

Shouldn't be an issue. Find the parts on the M440 ETKA with the proper color code.

Pretty sure that's how people initially figured this "mod" out.

The parts catalogs on websites like Real OEM and get bmwparts I am seeing for free online don't even list the G22 model, which is why I'm having such a hard time finding the correct part number. A subscription to the ETK appears to be $80. Anyone have access and willing to help a brother out?

I don't suppose someone is able to find a part number for a RHD version of the black leather with blue stitching please? I've tried searching online parts catalogues but can only find the alcantara version.
VIN WBA12AR090CJ97804 should show the right part.

Thanks in advance

Look on Autotrader for an M3 with the knee pads fitted. Use the registration number at the dealers to get part numbers & price ( thats what I’m going to do!

That's what I tried with the VIN I posted, but only the alcantara comes up - despite that particular car having the correct leather padded section with blue stitching.

Unfortunately I believe the M3 with black has grey stitching, not blue

Got a VIN of a vehicle with the alcantara knee pads fitted, checked the EPC and it lists the standard plastic trims ☹️

Does anyone have part numbers for RHD vehicles ?
