Hey all,

Looking at two different M340i’s that are about a $2k net difference in price.

Option one is my favored color combo, RWD, non adaptive suspension, and park assist. 360 degree cameras are nice to have.

Option two isn’t my first pick in color combo, but I don’t hate it. X-drive, adaptive suspension, and no park assist package. It is around $2k more expensive.

I trade in vehicles often so resale is a factor.

Between the two, what do y’all think?

If you trade often, I’d take the xdrive and adaptive suspension. I can live with a “not first pick” color combo if I’m not holding it long. Plus colors are for looks. Xdrive and adaptive suspension will make a difference in actual driving experience and performance. Lastly, Xdrive may hold value a bit better.

What’re the colors of each?

xDrive + adaptive suspension will be more enjoyable day-to-day.

The RWD is black/black with jet black 19” wheels. The X drive is skyscraper grey with tacora red and jet black 19” wheels.

While I like skyscraper grey, my G80 M3 was also skyscraper grey and was looking to get a different color. Brooklyn grey with the 19” bicolor wheels is first choice.

Nice! So you haven’t gotten tired of the red interior? That’s good to know. I do wish the X drive I’m looking at had the 360 degree cameras. Not a deal breaker, but once you have them it’s hard to go back.

Definitely not. I'll get red interior for my next car too.

I keep my cars for 10+ years so I get exactly what I want. YMMV, of course, but my vote is for Option #1. Color combo means a lot. I also prefer RWD but to each their own.
