The best thing about my 2024 vs 2021 is adaptive m suspension. I believe in the 21 model it was a option and use to have a center console button to activate. What a difference in ride quality. I don’t feel like I’m driving a go-kart anymore. My seating on 21 sucked too compared to this one, I remember old car seating feeling to thick and firm like a hockey puck. These seats are a world of difference. The shifter turning into lever design was smart. It was always in the way from putting a drink there or pulling out drink, always banged on shifter and that’s not smart with a Stanley or metal cup. I don’t like that the headlights don’t level or turn with car but new Headlights don’t disappoint with brightness and appearance. Car does look more aggressive, they both do just in different ways. I liked having more body line and paint on front and rear bumper to my 2021 but the 24 does look more full. Ambient lighting color choices are crap needing to fix that if anyone knows step by step. Also removing additional lighting in lower car inserts on doors was a cheap move and no puddle lights installed on bottom of doors?! Idk it’s growing on me and my 21 was hit so no way was I gonna hold onto it for long. Looking forward to tint and titanium exhaust. Might just do a JB4 as I do not feel like shipping my DME out overseas.

Adaptive suspension is always active. What you're referring to is the adaptive drive mode which is a separate feature. People always confuse the two. Adaptive drive mode must be activated, but adaptive suspension, if equipped, is active in every drive mode.

I ordered a MY24, and awaiting production and delivery. I still have a couple months to think about how the cost cuttings affects my decision, but I’m highly likely to still buy the car. The drive alone is worth it.
I’m curious about the power tailgate function. I spec’d mine with the option; does it include the kick to open function in 2024? I read elsewhere that it was removed in the refresh, but could have been due to shortage. My CA has no idea. Can anyone with a 2024 and power tailgate confirm? |
