That sounds painful the wait. Have you thought about just replacing it.

The Lx wasn’t cheap unfortunately and it was too late to return it and get an enet WiFi adapter instead. And those aren’t cheap either. If I want to use a wired enet cable, I have to have an apple device. That means I have to buy bimmercode again even though my apple and android device are registered under the same email ID. That means I’m looking at roughly $100 extra. I’d rather just live with the slow speed since I don’t code often and only when I have a lot of spare time

Which one are you guys using? Many don't have the best reviews. |

@phillyd2 ,
Just to confirm, you use Bimmercode on an Android phone-- correct? I am because I use Bimmercode on my Samsung S8 and have an Enet cable that I use with my laptop -- so all I need is the LAN to USB-C adapter Bimmercode is working OK with this cable combination? Thanks

VipinLJ ,
Indeed, what I was hoping is a LAN to USB-C adapter since I have an ENet cable already

Me too. I hope Stephan does something so that us android users can use a wired connection too. Wonder why it won’t work with G series cars and only with older ones.

Do you know if I go the Enet route, can I disconnect it after coding? Or does it need to stay plugged in at all times? Sorry I know it’s an old post lol.

you can certainly leave it dangling too! haha jk. I use the obd port for Dashcam, so I swap them whenever I need to code, and put the dasch cam power supplying OBD back on when coding is done. |
