The brake cooling ducts are larger in this render, which I found to be way too small on the leaked front end...looks better but still not a fan
It seems they are playing off of the M2 front end. |

The coffin grills look a lot better than the buck teeth grills on the m440i. It's got more defined hexagonal shape and the grills are not connected!!
Anyway, I'm not feeling the g82. The body lines are crap, no hofmeister kink, no dct, and no physical handbrake. Big pass for me. I'll stick with the f82 |

I like it...I bet so many here are going to eat crow once you see it in person. That and the aggressive leasing

Are the girls smaller in this rendition? I do feel it flows so much better but the grill seems to be the reason why. I might actually consider this car if it looks more like this. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out.

As predicted, people will start getting used to the big grilles and then it will be considered normal and we will look back at all this vitriol and hate and laugh about it. Honestly, after seeing the 4 series concept (which I thought looked stunning - grilles and all), I'm totally used to it now and the small grilles look dated to me - particularly on the E92. |

im not even sure why, but at first glance it always reminds me of a mix between a mustang and a g35 down the side.

Bumper is off in the rear. Close but it won't look like that. Also the spoiler won't look like that. Front has correct elements but these makes make it look "good". Don't ask me how I know. I don't want BMW investigators at my house again.

Now that takes the G22 grill to the next level in style. The G82 grill actually fits the more aggressive looking front end. The grill sits on top of a leading edge that is splitter like and the air inlets on either side are more aligned with the grill giving it a more race engineered look.
I like it a lot. |

To my eyes better looking front end than the M440i. Still a lot going on at the front - but less gruesome than other renders.

Rear looks nice and tidy. The body character line still seems out of place (too low) with the handle cutouts an afterthought - which isn't due to the render— but the rear wont look like this image. Diffuser we think will not be body colored and BMW just can't stop dropping the muffler/diaper down where it's a permanent eyesore without spending another 2500+ as soon as you take delivery.
The front. Well. The hood is off in this render. Spanning the coffin grill there are 4 level changes, I guess I'd say. On the leaked hood image there are 8. This rendered hood I think looks cleaner than what we'll see in production.

It looks much better, but the grilles look wider and more rounded / less angular than the latest leaked photo. I like it better, this way, but I think the last render resembles the leak more accurately.
