BMW: Please provide roof-rack inserts on CF roof
I am planning on getting a 6MT/G80 and using it as a family hauler.
Props to you BMW for actually offering us diehard manual fans with kids - A 6MT car that can be a family hauler, but please do not omit this feature. 🙏🙏 P.S. As always, please allow Euro Delivery in 2021 |

That would be very nice! First question my wife asked when I told her that press drive reviews were out (and I mentioned that the G80 still is missing a backseat armrest).

This was an *extremely* annoying engineering screw-up on the F8x. I ended up fitting a tow-hitch- but not being able to use roof-bars on an M3/4 because somebody got the holes in the wrong place on the CF roof is just an embarrassment. |

I also hope that it will come from the factory, but since people were able to insert roof rack screws on the last generation, I at least hope that the aftermarket option will work as a "just in case" BMW doesn't this time around.
