G20 M sport seats uncomfortable (headrest!)

Hello,
I've had a chance to drive the new 330i for a few weeks on some long drives, it's a cool car but I feel I prefer my F30 330e way better.

One thing that really annoying me is the bloody headrest, there's no way to just have it 'vertical' (i.e not at an angle) like in the F30...

I'm rather tallish (1.85m) and no matter what I do I find the headrest pushing my head (and neck forward, very uncomfortable... Am I missing something?

On a side note, even when I'm sitting in the centre of the seat - if I touch the headrest I can see that my head isn't centred on it (horizontally) but a bit to the left side, had that in the F30 too RHD.

Is it only me?

I'm not a tall guy so my drivning position is definitely different from yours and I don't have any issues.

You are aware that you can adjust the headsupport alone in a horisontal way (back and forth) - not just up and down?

I am tall 6ft 3, it took a couple of long journeys to get comfortable but now the seats set I'm well happy. I do notice that me head sits o the left of the headrest but it isn't an uncomfortable thing. I think it is a response to the slightly offset position of the pedals forcing you to sit diagonally across the seat? Design flaw from bmw I'd say the seat needs canting slightly or the pedals need to be shifted over and inch or two. Probably more noticeable for a taller person as the pedals are further away...

Recline the seat back more and lift the front thigh section up. Similar to a recaro bucket seat position. Then the headrest won’t be an issue.

^This. I had a similar issue to the OP when I first got my Volvo S60 with the sports seats. Dialing in more recline was the answer.

I'm ok with the headrest, but absolutely can't stand the seat-pan. I always develop an annoying, but slight pain under my right leg. I think it has to do with the seat-pan bolstering that has this stylized tube-like pattern that's meant to mimic the hofmeister kink pattern, as well as the welcome light pattern. That tube-like pattern is raised ever slightly and digs into my leg. Personally, I think BMW missed the mark on the seat-pan and should have stayed with a flat appearance with no tube bolstering, with any stitching pointed inwards, not outwards, especially where one lays their ass and legs.
