I just received my 330e with Tanzarite, Cognac and black wheels (winter) and I think this combo works well.
My Original plan was to get Dravit, but I managed to get a look at both colors and I really liked Tanzarite. Dravit was also great, but for me it looked abit too "concrete" in certain lights. Dravit is probably more of a sporty and modern look, Tanzarite leans toward luxury. I think both works well with cognac. I actually like the bottom of the dash being the color of the leather. In the old days manufacturers would match the carpets to the leather color as well. Today everything is about cost and number crunching.
I ordered a tanzanite blue over cognac. Black wheels, open pore maple trim. Reminds me of the very nice deep blue exterior / natural dark tan interior of the old school Mercedes S class. Thanks to all that weighed in. |
