I've watched this video before. Thanks for advice. I did not buy from bimmertech so did not have their bracket. Anyway, I find somewhere on the storage panel as shown below. Will try to sit on top and before that, I just want to ensure everything is fine before I put back all the screw.

That is not the correct place to mount the Match amp - it should bolt up to the bracket that holds the original BMW amp, behind the panels.

Bimmertech authorized dealers in HK (you can probably source the other bracket from them, as shown in the video):

Your seller gave you the 1.7 RAM harness for the UP 7DSP.

You bought the UP 8DSP.

You need the 1.7 RAM harness for the UP 8DSP.

Nope. They now offer UP 8 DSP amps with the appropriate bracket. Some are multi amp compatible e.g. PP86/UP7/UP8. As an example a G30 MGU.

Hey Technic I'm struggling to find an answer to if my amp is compatible with my car. I just bought a Audiotec Fishcher Match PP 86DSP for my 2014 328d with HiFi S676. I went to buy a harness on ebay and the seller is suggesting that the PP 86DSP amp is not compatible with HiFi S676A, but instead for base stereo for euro market. I am super confused right now.

The amp does have a MEC slot, came with the PP ISO2 cable, and has 6 channel high level speaker input.

My understanding was that the bimmertech amp is a PP 86DSP with a custom harness for plug and play. Part of that customization being that they are supplying power through the 20 pin molex adapter. To be clear, the amp i bought is not the bimmertech version, its the Fischer PP86.

Any chance you'd be able to help me understand if this amp will work in my car? I didn't want to lose any functionality or pull the headunit. I just spent a lot of money going for plug and play and convenience.

I'd like to understand what exactly makes the amp not compatible if it really isn't...

Your 3-Series is an F30, not a G20. The PP86DSP works with the F30 HiFi system 4ch inputs.

Yes, I'm very aware that I have a F30. Your inbox is closed, so I wasn't able to PM you. I've already tried the F30 forum but my posts always fall on deaf ears...

It seems you confirmed the regular/non-bimmertech Auditotec Fischer PP86 DSP is compatible with F30 S676A HiFi.

Are you 73mustangconv on ebay? Or is someone else selling your harness?
