i saw the specifications for 86 dsp is 6 high level speakers input while
it is 4 high level speakers input for up 7 dsp.
Which one is better though for my 2022 bmw 430i coupe?

Some people said 7 dsp has stronger output but it does not matter how many high level speakers input at all??
How do i know which one is better.

The UP 7DSP has 6ch high level inputs (which you need to integrate this amp to your OEM audio system) when you add the MEC ANALOG IN module to it.

Plenty of threads discussing this DSP/amp.

Does anyone on the forum have a File suitable for Match 7DSP with MEC card for Factory speakers?

I downloaded a file from ATF website but not happy with the output. I have spent some time learning about different settings and feel comfortable using their software, just need a better starting point to narrow/fine tune my settings.

The biggest hurdle I am trying to overcome is to find the cross over frequency specs for factory speakers (G05). If anyone has those specs or the PC Tool compatible file for G05, could you please share it?

Does anyone know if this amplifier require the power source running from the car battery? I'm planning to buy the Match Up 8DSP for my G20 318i (2021), saw that most guideline video(pp86dsp and match up 7bmw) from youtube but never mention this step, just plug and play. But I found the step from the product manual which is mention to running the ppower source and the grounding cable as well. Still looking for if got any instruction video about this.

Thanks for that! So it is require to buy some wiring cable with the fuse. Can someone please advice if the cable mentioned from the below link is suitable or not? I bought the up 8dsp from this website from below then they advice me to buy this cable but it looks expensive. Or anyone got some suggestion about this. I know I may not have enough car modifing knowledge. Please advice and thanks!!

The power cable and fuse specs that you need for this UP 8DSP are described in the manual posted above, and everything that you must know about setting it up.

Thanks for that! By the way, Have you heard anything about to do the autotune feature on the device? I tried to research the Up8DSP sound file from the Audio Fischer webpage then can't found any files. The staff from their offical page just left me the message from below:

The software’s autotune feature is designed to be used in the vehicle and not something that can be remoted in. There are no sound profiles for your vehicle.>

I do found the sound file for my car(BMW G20) from AF website if I choose the model (UP 10DSP). I don't understand how come 10DSP having the sound file but 8DSP did not. I believe it is not the compatible issue with my G20.

The 8DSP is a brand new model for HiFi systems (kind of replacing the 7DSP with MEC Analog In module) so must probably AF does not have a sound profile created for it yet. The older 10DSP is for HK systems.

So finally my Match up 8dsp just arrived. I've had a look my car's battery location and it seems like not enough room to keep the amplifier. And if it is too close to the battery it looks easily to short circuit.

Can someone please share your amplifier
install location? I did not buy it from bimmertech so I don't have their amplifier's bracket. Thanks!

I noticed that there is an HIGHLEVEL INPUT E+F connector on the device. Did anyone tried these 2 connector before with the center and subwoofer cable from the 1.7 RAM kit. Do I need to make any tuning if I connect these 2 connector to the device?

All connectors of the 1.7 RAM harness must be plugged into the Match UP 8DSP, there is no exception if you want a plug and play install.

Watch this install video. The amp reuses the OEM bracket. The other bracket can be purchased from Bimmertech if needed. If you're still having issues, call it a day & bring it to an authorized dealer to do the install.

There are (2) 1.7 RAM harnesses, one for the UP 7DSP and another for the UP 8DSP. You may have the UP 7DSP harness, when you need the UP 8DSP harness.
