My Trips started yesterday after I got an idrive message to update privacy settings. Quite useful except that I wish it showed mpg rather than gp100m.

Also wish it showed every trip done in the car, not just ones by me. Any trips done by the wife on her profile are not displayed. Same for BMW points.

No they're the services - you need to enable trip data under the privacy settings.

I selected , 'All services inc analysis', updated MyBmw app on my phone, and hey presto it appeared in the app.

Also makes me wonder whether it's using US gallons rather than Boris gallons.

I've often used the App Feature Request form in the app to ask for things to be added. Maybe a coincidence, but at least one request has made it into the app, so I think they listen.

If enough people request mpg units in the My Trips data, you never know...

Hi,

I have tried everything suggested above but My Trips still doesn’t appear for me. I have the latest version of the App, IOS, 2.9.1. I have all the correct Privacy settings ticked and rebooted I-Drive.

As someone else suggested , is it dependent on the I-Step version? I have 03/2022.30.

Yeah they do listen. I used the App Store feedback to also add the suggestion on trip info. When they rolled it out, they replied to the app rating review I left the same day.
Like others though I can't get the info to show. 11.2021.5 on car software, fully up to date iPhone. All privacy checked, and even tried an idrive reboot. Maybe it's not available in NL just yet and I have to wait. Same happened with the connected speed camera notifications. Was months after it went live in the U.K. that it even appeared as a subscription option here…€70 though! Wonder which exchange rate they came up with haha

I have a '19 330i, 3/2022 iStep software and 2.9.1 Android App. No trip info.

There's an update posted in Play today (v2.9.2).. Maybe worth installing to see if all the niggles have been addressed.

Yeap, installed them a couple of hours ago, no change at the moment. I've raised it with the App team, let's see what they come back with.

On v2.9.2 on a Pixel 6 Pro (so that could be the issue as it's a sh** mobile)

Had a notification from the myBMW app this morning that I need to book a "Front tyre service" within the next 621 miles. Seems very specific but when checking the tyres there's loads of tread left... at least 2mm above the wear indicators. (car has done 23k miles)

The notification is now stuck at the top of the main screen in the app and i cant see how to get rid of it. Is there any way to "snooze" the notification or do I really have to put up with it for the next 3 months at least?

Same question. I have emailed the BMW charging team’s support desk to ask how I can do this. Will revert if I hear anything back, John

It doesn't go away, even when you replace the tyres! I am guessing new tyres need to be scanned in by the dealer but they didn't know how to reset that message, and neither does the BMW ConnectedDrive team :-(

I had all 4 replaced last week on mine and the warning is still on..

It is going into the dealer the end of the month and he said they do need scanning into the car so it knows the date the tyres were changed to calculate the wear.. mine will be out a little now..

Will let you know if it does clear after lol

I removed the tyre wear function from mine as it was massively out. It was telling me to change the tyres after 8k miles with them still having over 5.5mm thread across the tyre.

Nice idea but too many limitations for me. I expect a few people who are less car minded will fall short of this and end up authorising tyre changes well before they are needed.

I think it is just a guide, it does say that it is no substitute for checking..
