I got new tires and wanted to get an alignment same time since the front drivers side tire was wearing substantially more on the inside than the others. I’ve gone to this place for tires and alignment before. Use all the good equipment.

They told me they couldn’t complete the alignment because the swivel bearing was out of spec to adjust camber. Car was never in any accidents or hit any massive pothole. Anybody else experience this on their M340i? Could they be referring to the steering knuckle?

Any idea how much this part will cost and what it takes to install? This was just a tire shop so they couldn’t give me any kind of numbers.

The tire shops exact words “swivel bearing is out of range to camber adjust.”
