X drive is noticeably faster. S drive is slower than outgoing 330i s drive.

Power lift gate and remote start! Where is Apple car play is it a subscription now? Should come with 4 years free as standard. Also like the spare tire for go flat enthusiasts (MPSS)

Wife's getting a new M340i, so far, we're stuck between three colors, Mineral White, Portimao Blue, or Black Sapphire. Black is stealthy, White contrasts well and looks clean, and blue is very sporty, and we also kind of like how mineral grey looks on the configurator although we're waiting to see it in real pictures/person. Hard decisions, luckily we have a few more months!

It looks like BMW has completely axed the front side bumper cameras

I use this feature all the time when pulling out of streets with overgrown bushes and obstructions.

Comfort Access is not standard? Also 1 year of SIRIUS is in a package now? Disappointing. Will it be this way for the 340i? Seems like nickel and dime and BMW is forcing buyers into purchasing packages to get options that should be standard.

The NA builder always has some quirks whenever they release a new model, either that or maybe it is standard? I saw that there is possibly a glitch in that the convenience package won't bundle with certain trims.

36mpg? Sounds optimistic. Though my 340i is highway rated for 33. Get somewhat lower than that in real life.

Anyone between MSport and Luxury Line? I find luxury line more appealing somehow...

M sport would handle better. I would test drive them both.

That's a 330i in the photos, so 36 mpg sounds about right (Car and Driver was able to get 41mpg in their testing), the M340i builder isn't available, I was just showcasing what color my wife is thinking of building her M340i in.

Have to agree, Luxury line with the chrome trim looks really good in many colors, but I'm assuming that the M-Sport might handle better (mostly because it can be optioned with the track handling package)

Looks like there are several inaccuracies with the online builder at this time. For example, Premium Package description talks about LEDs, Moonroof, Sirius, and Comfort Access, none of which are included in the package.

Other inaccuracies:
  1. With MSport, convenience package is shown as selectable when it's features are bundled into MSport
  2. Driving Assistance Package includes Driving Assistant Professional Package...
  3. Driving Assistant Professional Package does not let me view what is contained in the package

Too many packages with overlapping options.
The weird thing is they didn't put Premium and Executive into the "Tier" level and styles selection page doesn't show what's included.

Have the M performance parts (blacked out grills, ect), ordered as PIA.

M customers pay the M tax, as the carbon fiber interior trim is not "free"; it's a $20,000+ option going from series production to ///M.

Really confusing on the configurator since it isn't mentioned anywhere but checking the order guide it lists Sirius with 1 year as part of the M sport package.
