Pedal tuner

Would a pedal tuner such as Sprint Booster or Racechip XLR void warranty?

Technically it shouldn’t. It just taps into the existing connectors near the throttle pedal. And you don’t need to splice any wires.

I have a few friends who have installed pedal boxes in the Audis and have had no issues. It just messes with the throttle map.

Update: Installed Sprint Booster. Took less than 15 minutes. Works as advertised and has made the car much more pleasurable to drive.

Cool, can you elaborate some on the before and after change>? Interested to know what changes and improvements you've noticed. Also, any drawbacks?

So, as you know it basically improves the throttle response. The car feels more responsive and agile. Of course it doesn't really increase power or improve performance.
Some people don't like it much... I guess it depends on your driving style - if you like mashing throttle all the time it's not really going to do much for you. But for me it makes the car more enjoyable.
No downsides yet. Will have to wait and see if it effects the fuel economy.

Just installed RaceChip XLR on my car yesterday.
It really transforms the car in a good way. Much more agile and fun to drive.

Together with my RaceChip ECU, it makes a perfect combo.

Hi
Can I find out how u installed it? I’m installing it on a G20 M340i Basically there’s a cover on the floor of the pedal with a torx screw. That’s been removed but it feels like there’s another one behind the pedal?

Thk u ahead for sharing I didn’t want to yank too hard but seems like there’s another screw at the back of the pedal?

No, there's only one screw. Push the pedal upwards and forwards (towards the engine) until it releases from the clip in the back. Don't pull it towards yourself.
