Thanks....tracking still says mine is at the port....maybe the next boat although it may be totally out of sink as it was supposed to go to PC but we changed it a few days ago.

My order (M340i xDrive) just went from scheduled for production back to order received, like I thought it would. I was originally scheduled for Mar 30 production date. My CA just let me know that the production has been rescheduled for May 19, so we're looking at just over a 7 week delay.

Thought about it, but I'm not super worried right now. I don't actually need the car until late July so that production date will still work. If the production date keeps sliding right then I'll definitely be looking for something on a lot.

Just called the Genius....still at the port and thought maybe my change from PCD to dealership may hold things up.

I feel like we overthink since there is limited information shared from the side of BMW production in Germany to the Genius or Client Advisors. We start guessing and driving ourselves crazy. I think it has a lot to do with the right timing of allocation and trucks/vessels. I got lucky and waited less than most others whereas there are some that got their cars even faster than me.

Let's just hope we can pick them up with no problems when they come in because these are not "essential" businesses necessarily so we might not even be able to get them due to the virus...

Agree. I'm not sure by the time our cars make it stateside if they will be available for pickup for weeks or even months.

Got mine today! Dealer discounted the car further to make up for the difference in the MF since I placed my order back in November. Other than BMW messing up the trim option, and the excruciating wait, I've had fun through this whole ordering/tracking process.
