Now, not sure about the lower intake shape but what if we made those grills simply rounded rectangles?

The rendering above with the proportional grills looks amazing. Sad to say that BMW really just blew it with the new design. I think it looks disgusting as hell. Bucktooth grill and rear end.

I wish the M8 was the size of the M4 and the main difference to the M4 was the materials (ALU chassis, magnesium wheels, proper full leather interior), higher end components like Ohlins suspension, higher end tech. (Audio, infotainment), higher end engine (V8) etc.
The 8 doesn’t need to be bigger/big to be a premium offering to the 4.

And I wouldn’t mind much if the M8 and M4 were lookalikes IF the M8 was a bit bolder...

While i really like the M8'ifyed G80 render i think that the large Grille will look way less offensive in reality than in the renders. I'll reserve judgement until i see one in the Flesh, but i have to say the big Kidneys are growing on me more every Day.

I really wish they integrate the Exhaust Tips better in the final Product(i know the red one on the leaked Photo was just as the render above). Looks like a cheap hackjob on a Golf Mk3. -.-
The M340i Exhaust Tips look so neatly integrated.

I am planning to lease a G80 M3 but I really don't appreciate the huge plastic trim. It looks so cheap

Overall nice

Don't a fan of edgy diffuser

F80 had a smooth one, I think it will be similar, like in m5/8

Everytime I see a render I like the car more and more.

I am certain it will look amazing when we see it officially with all the lines coming together. All these renders are bland and don't give the car the "unf" factor.

Coming around to it but still think the front looks awful. Also the rear diffuser looks cheap.

I think the M4 is going to be pretty cool looking even with the grill. Won't look like a BMW but will be cool looking car. Much better than Mercedes or Audi right now.

..also I believe the only way to get a Manual in a 4 series is to go up to M...

does anyone know of an example in history of an M car getting synthetic interior from Individual? If someone was unable to purchase leather, is this even possible?
