The 2021's are not larger. These 18" oem wheels will fit over the larger caliper/rotors that come with the ZTK package. It's a close fit but they do. I had the same brakes but decided to go with a 19" but that was purely cosmetic reasons.

Here are some pics of my aftermarket wheels on the car I had installed at delivery with the package. I'll take a close up pic tomorrow, but pretty sure 18s will not fit.[IMG][/IMG]

Black with the M trim. It's a perfect combo.

What kinda statement is that? Burrcold just mentioned some 18's do fit and he's one of the early owners. How then can you then proclaim, you're pretty sure when we already know and verified that some 18's do fit these brakes. This was debunked and settled last year.

No one would sell me 18s. Everywhere I looked the answer was 19s only.

I know there was a post where someone took a non-OEM wheel from tire rack that appeared to have the same dimensions as the 796M package, and it did NOT fit over the caliper.
I think it's going to be very rare to find a non-OEM wheel that will work in 18", at least I haven't seen anyone post a setup with ZTK and an aftermarket 18" setup that fit, most went 19". Is it possible they exist? Sure. I'm just not sure how you would find it out without a little trial and error, which can be expensive when you're doing it with wheels. Personally I would stick with 19's if you're going aftermarket to guarantee fitment is OK, otherwise I would look at the 796M set. They're just winter wheels, and honestly they look nice and the price is great for OEM. |

Ya, I agree. I wonder if the car is leased if the dealer will buy back the wheels at the end of the term (if they don't fit the next leased car).

Some 18s fit, and some don't. 796Ms are guaranteed to fit and OEM. If I can help it, I'd go 18s any day of the week. More sidewall with winter roads is a no-brainer.

ZTK Brake Size and 18in Wheels that fit
Confirming what @Graaf_Autowerks said above ^^^
My 2021 ZTK packaged car is on it's way from Germany and arriving in January. Sales Agent and Service Manager at Knauz BMW in Lake Bluff IL say that it should have the bigger brakes. I will confirm when it arrives and post pictures. They also say that the 18in m796 wheels will fit the bigger brakes but other 18in wheels won't. I've attached a photo of my quote for 18in m796 wheels and snow tires. I also have the Dinan exhaust coming (don't care for the std. trapezoid tips). Will post on that when it comes. https://www.dinancars.com/products/e.../D660-0085-BLK Lastly, hello all. This Forum is really helpful. Last edited by TedW; 12-21-2020 at 11:56 AM..
