Haven't been this excited since.... well.... my last BMW that I tracked like a lunatic 3 years ago...LOL
2021 M440i XDrive • Dravit Grey / Black Leather with Blue Stitching • Open pore oak • Shadowline • 791M 19" black all season • Parking Assistant Package • Executive Package • Remote Start • Harman Kardon 3/6 - Order Placed 3/11 - Scheduled for production (genius said was scheduled for 14th week 3/29 - genius told me scheduled for 15th week 4/1 - Production Begins, VINumber is born! 4/5 - Genius shared estimates completion of 4/15 4/13 - Exterior Body Assembly Begins 4/13 - in the paint booth 4/14 - entered assembly line 4/15 - assembly in progress 4/15 - quality check 4/15 - final assembly 4/15 - ready for transport 4/15 - awaiting carrier assignment 4/15 - dispatched from factory 4/19 - at the port Last edited by dwj6211; 04-19-2021 at 06:13 AM.. |

Hello,
here are a few dates from my order. My delivery is in early may timeframe. I dont have every status below, just from screen prints I had I captured these dates. It moved through the process pretty quickly and the longest of course was journey here. I followed the vessel daily. My car will be here a month before I actually get it but I was obsessed with tracking it 2/17- production begins 2/24- in paint booth 2/26- awaiting carrier assignment 3/1- left factory 3/3- at port in bremer 3/5-left port and “in transit’ 3/30-arrived in Charleston 3/31-in transit again 4/- in port again 4/2- still in port and will be for awhile probably |

The only option I considered but didn't end up getting was the driving assistance. I also test drove an xM5 with it, and I expected more... I basically had to touch the steering wheel every 10 seconds... I guess I had higher hopes on the automation lol. Also, I know some people think the park assist is silly, but since having it in my current 4 series it's literally the silliest option I could never live without again! LOL. Compared to every jeep, Mercedes and some others I've seen "self park", bmw really got it right .... haven't scratched a rim once! |

yeah it moved very quickly.. one day it cleared at least 3 statuses! so maybe yours will move through too quickly. it was a "priory 1 sold" so that maybe helped but not sure.. but my CA said sometimes they move through faster when sold already...
