Confirmed today...no HK and Wireless in the 330e Tourer but it’s not dampened my spirits to be honest this group confirmed it a while ago so it softens the blow.......the car will look amazing in Mineral Grey, Pro Package and 19’s so roll on July / August

Should tell them to stuff the order(s) until supply sorted - arrogance on their part to assume the customer should just roll over and accept it. Might make for better discounts later when everyone stops ordering their cars with bits missing. Bloody ridiculous state of affairs.

Yes, the price is getting amended I will have revised figures later today. I don’t have HK in my current F10 so for me I won’t miss it but equally I am gutted. Are you having the same issue?

I was stunned at the trade in value on my 2020 and could basically straight swap for a new one. They didn't do M seats in 2020 and I'd like the sunroof + full leather. So I made some enquries, but this seems to be WHY there is such a premium on used ones....so will park it for now

My F10 is a bit older than yours but I have still had a decent price offered but privately and they are happy to wait which is good, shame your going to wait but for me I need something newer plus been working hard for it so I am going to enjoy it, and maybe when I order my next one in 3 years I may get the HK then

Could you confirm the full specs you've ordered and what delivery dates you've been given?

To add my experience/reference in, I placed my order for a G21 M340i on 31st March and am expecting delivery next week wc 7th June with no additional equipment missing.

I did raise the equipment issue with my dealer and they said my build just about got in before it started to get very tight - however reading comments I'm not sure if they're just blowing smoke up my whatsit there. I went with a very light spec (no additional 'packs') so that will have helped avoid some of the issues but have got HK and wireless charging.

I have however been astonished at just how poor the availability of useful updates is from dealer.
Even once the car was built, my delivery date has been moved back 3 times (1+ month).
In the industry I work in (and most others I suspect), you wouldn't last long by reporting back to your customer "yes it's made but we really have no idea when it might get shipped other than an a number on our screens that moves back weeks without any notice".

Yet we still buy the blimming things! 😂

Will post pics next week once I've picked her up.

It never crossed my mind on higher trade in with the current situation. I bought mine pre reg in June last year for £28,300.

The car is immaculate, 7100 miles (2019 plate), premium and tech packs, added m performance kit with carbon blades and wing mirror covers. I'm being offered just shy of 28k!
I know I can get more with the carbon parts I have, so far I'm sitting about 8k equity! Makes me want to upgrade even more.

I have on order a 330e Tourer MSport in Mineral Grey Black Leather with Grey Stitching with Pro Pack and Tech Pack I am still getting both packs on the car only without Wireless Charging and HK.

I ordered the car on the 7th May and the car is due end of July start of August, I have been told it may come forward a bit due to not having the HK and Wireless now being added but I will wait and see

Yeah, same. Normally at 1 year into a PCP you're WELL upside down. Right now, I'd have my full deposit back and a bit more. I'd do it if a new one wasn't going to be missing crucial bits...the market is crazy.

Oh absolutely, I don't blame you at all and the G21 is one of the best all rounders I have ever owned - you'll love it. in my case though it's a bit early, shes only done 8k miles I just crave those seats. And a sunroof. And M Performance wheels. And an Individual colour maybe....yeah, easy to get carried away...

It's immaculate condition and I paid £20k.

Also mention of a reference to ‘ex mpa’ which has taken the sales manager a over a week to establish what this meant. Apparently, it means excluding metallic paint and now the sales manager is saying the price of the car has gone up as now mineral grey is a cost option. In short I was getting more and more annoyed with dealing with this dealership and to hear him say the price has gone up which translates to getting only £850 back on the removal of the mentioned options has got me thinking I need to cancel. The deal was done in March and deposit paid.

Any advice would be appreciated.

You’re getting £850 back but losing HK and gesture control if I read it correctly? In that case, I’d take the car as those options are dubious value in the first place. As you say, HK is not mind-blowing and as for gesture control - really?
Wireless charging is an easy retrofit.

Because they’re not sending something completely different per your example.
Personally, I’d take the £850 and be quite happy loosing those options. It’s still a pair of blue trousers but with a different design of belt loops.

I think that's where we differ. For me the 'toys' are an absolutely essential part of the package. And the loss of them would be a deal breaker (especially because I'm sure that if you wait a year they'll be back again). I just couldn't make that compromise.

Me too. HK is pretty average IMO, and gesture control is a bit of a pain. Constently mutes at the slightest hand movement (pretty sure I dont make flat v-signs every time I move my hand).

I would however take exception to them now charging me for a paint colour that was costed differently when signing the order.

If I was in two minds, and would be happy to walk away if necessary, I'd be suggesting that additional cost was swallowed by BMW/dealer or the order cancelled.

No we're fully in agreement - I love the toys too but those particular options are a waste of time IMO, as neither are much cop. I could easily live with the loss of those two for £850.

I'd be miffed about the metallic though...

I think Logic 7 does make a big difference, but agree fully with gesture control not being worth the hassle. The only ones I can get to work on a regular basis are vol up/down and happy to use the other 2 controls for that. Also my kids think they're funny when they use it to change volume.
