'24 Brooklyn Grey M340i Build

Hi friends,

After experimenting with Mercedes, I’ve returned to BMW and I wanted to share some photos of my current build.

H&R Sport Spring
10mm spacers in the front
13mm spacers in the back
Color matched front reflectors (from iND)
eBay spoiler & lip
CF paddle shifters
(also have intake and chargepipe installed)

I’m awaiting delivery of a new diffuser and side skirts. I will post those once they’re installed.

What is the reason you came back to Bmw? In my case, the interior rattle in the merc drove me crazy at only 12k miles, upgraded to a 330e lci and no rattle so far 10k miles in.

To be honest I loved the benz I had. My W205 C63s LCI had it's own perks (the V8 especially), but ultimately when shopping for the best in its' class, BMW has the edge for a lot of models. I love both makes, they're unique in their own way.

Appreciate you. It's considered an M4 style spoiler, I didn't want the PSM highkick style so I opted for this one.

Thank you I couldn't agree more. Something as small as suspension and fitment made the whole car look different. Crazy!

A few updates since my original post.

Got a beefy diffuser and center console ambient lighting from Infinite Autowerks, along with side skirts and CF interior trim from eBay.

Unfortunately the OEM exhaust tips didn't fit on the diffuser, so I'm exploring options for some nice quad tips (trying to decide between black or stainless, any input is appreciated).

Beautiful looking car. I just got a '23 recently in Brooklyn gray as well and absolutely love it. I just ordered that same spoiler for mine. I wasn't sure if I wanted to do springs on mine, but after seeing yours it has me rethinking that. I may start with a little beefier tires for now but may still end up doing something similar to yours.

For the trunk spoiler, did you have to remove the stock spoiler before installing?

Yes, you do. I just got the same one as OP. Heat gun and fishing line to break separate the tape and spoiler. Then you'll want one of the adhesive remover wheels from 3M or similar to remove the leftover tape. Clean it up, put new 3M tape on the new spoiler and stick it on. It took me maybe an hour to do everything, could have been quicker but I only had 2lb fishing line and it kept snapping, so I'd recommend heavier.

I'm over in Glendale and would be happy to help out / loan you the adhesive remover if you want.

Thanks for the response and the offer. I decided to get it professionally installed along with a few other cosmetic mods since I lacked the expertise and equipment. Enjoying the honeymoon period with my new Skyscraper Grey M340i!

Nice car - I have the same. On the wheel spacers did it change the handling or ride? Positively or negatively?

Beautiful, OP!

Added some of your cosmetic add-ons into my cart on eBay so I'm hoping they look as good on black sapphire mettalic as they do on Brooklyn Grey.

Picking up mine tomorrow and wish I had your colour instead of BSM.

Do you have a link to both?

I haven’t noticed a change to the handling or the ride. Physics tell me that the wider BOS will me more stability, however it’s marginal.

Both the 10 and 13mm spacers were purchased from Burger Tuning.
