Extended warranty cost?
My car is a 2021 G20 M340i XDrive MHT - has anyone with a similar vehicle recently received a quote from BMW to extend their warranty? If so, what are the costs?

Looking at the policy it does seem good, I do the service plan as well for £25 a month so at least if an issue does arise they cant say its not service correctly lol ..
So £79 per month for a service plan and extended warranty is not bad really

Also covers "wear and tear"
If you have the Comprehensive level of cover however, we have included all insured components even if the failure is due to normal degradation (wear and tear) up to 100,000 miles from the date of registration. In addition, if a component has previously been replaced with a BMW Genuine Part, the same rule will apply, in this case evidence of mileage at fitment will be required.

I believe these are the current prices, across all 3 series models. Note the mileage limit at the top. Looking at the numbers I found roadside assistance, £100 excess to be the sweet spot.

They didn’t contact me this time - on my previous beemers they did. So I had to contact them. Phones remain unanswered after 30 minutes but an email to bmwsales@allianz-assistance.co.uk was answered fairly promptly.

I’ve just paid £422 for Comprehensive with Roadside assistance with a £250 excess for my 330i (‘21 plate). I think it was cheaper than paying monthly.

I'm guessing the lack of letter is just as much likely to be Royal Mail as it is BMW (or rather, their insurance partner). It'll probably turn up in November. |

I'm in the same boat now with another year and a bit left on the m340 lease but warranty runs out end of March.
BMW have quoted £422 with a £250 excess for a year with breakdown or £46 a month monthly rolling. £522 a year with £100 excess or £54 a month, £707 a year 0 excess or £71 a month. From a similar thread the other week.. |

It’s also worth noting, I believe the price goes up after 60k miles… however paying monthly is a way to avoid the jump in cost if your close to that mileage.

I didn't get contact last year, I just went on the BMW Warranty site a month before and applied.
I was only paying £39p/m for the Comprehensive policy with £250 excess. |
