Does it improve lane assist functionality? Or it is the same as before, disengaging by itself if gets unsure etc. Basically, does lane keeping works before after update? Thank you.

There's a few different systems across the BMW range My wife's 1 series just has the Lane Departure Warning which kind of keeps it in-lane but certainly not hands off.

Within DAP, you have the Active Lane Guidance & Traffic Jam Assistance below 40mph. It does a better job if you are following traffic and the road markings are clear. Can also code the Traffic Light and Lane Change assistants too if you have DAP and 11/2020 software update.

Do I need to have DAPP or is DAP good enough for these functions?
