Cyam that is a great idea and information. This Mad pipe has been highly recommended by a few people to me. You broke it down perfectly for me. For the price and power you can’t beat it.

Of course I test drove a 20. It was perfect, all the burbles, so nice. I got my 21 and thought something was wrong 😑. It was a night and day difference. Then I found out it could not be unlocked. The Dinan exhaust help with sound at least 😂. These engines are so tunable. I do envy the earlier models.

The 48 volt battery is useless to me. Just weight. One of the first things I did was code out Stop/Start. Then coded it to save my last driver’s setting. So it always starts in Individual Sport. At least we can still code stuff.

I think I will follow your advice and just get the Femto and this MAD. Just those 2 are the price of the AA. Another great product, just so expensive compared to this and a couple of others. Cyam nice breakdown. Thank you

Glad I could help. I also have XHP, MHD and coded using bimmercode. So customizable! I have the car exactly how I like it now.

My LCI 2023 m340i was one of the first to do a test fit install for this mad 4.5 catted dp. Just wanted to share that lol felt cool.

Fabspeed is a 200 cell and also guarantees no CEL with a lifetime warranty. I had one on my 435i for 5 years and 60k miles. Not one single CEL and always passed emissions. Just installed one on my M440i today so we’ll so how it does on this platform. Although I do understand the cost is pretty high.

Ok, well see how that goes. This is a different engine to what you had and the secondary o2 sensor is a lot more sensitive than the 435 you had. From what we have seen every 200cel cat DP triggers a cel on this G20 B58. You need, as a minimum, a 400 cel (and not just any 400cel, specific 400cels cats like GESI) to not trigger a cel on these cars.

Fabspeed uses the best of the best catalytic cores out there...200 cell euro 6 with a heavy wash of precious metals that ensure the gases are clean before it hits the sensors. That's why they cost so much because the cats are premium.

These cheap 200 cell cats and Dps are from MADs chinese supplier (Mertop racing) and at 200 cell are good for a slight reduction in smell and to cut down the rasp that traditional catless pipes have.So it's a good alternative to catless as being "near catless".
