Thank you very much for the kind words! It took a while to get to this point, but I'm incredibly happy with where it's at. But definitely not a finished product. I'd like to build an addition for a 3rd stall, add a mini-split for heat and cooling and upgrade lighting. Oh and a lift!

Thank you so much for the kind words. I never did since I didn’t consider my garage to be “all that” compared to some others. Now that you mention it maybe I should. Thank you

I absolutely love my Jeep. 7th one. 1st 4 door though. Love that as well. Fell in love with the new design. They got it right this time. Have had no issues with it. I highly recommend it!

Nice lineup!

Tell me a little more about that 308. I've never driven an older Ferrari, how does it drive? How many miles? Is it a ton of maintenance? Would you recommend one?

I desperately want a 458 but just can't justify the cost at the moment. Maybe one day......

A lot to unpack there...smile. I owned a 348SS previous to the 308QV. A 458, well that is an entirely different animal. The 308 isn't that fast, but it isn't a slouch for an almost 40 year old car, and it feels VERY fast because like karting your arse is about 7 inches above the pavement. The thing about the Ferrari is I have never had a more visceral experience in my automotive life than what it provides. There is something about Ferrari that is just, well, different and awesome.
It drives like a go-cart. Likely akin to a Miata or perhaps a Mini today, but from the 80s. The 348SS was very different, and although I have driven a few modern Ferrari's I have not had the pleasure of wheeling a 458 so I cannot comment on that one. I have about 56k miles on the 308 and drive it about 2k miles a year.
The Ferrari requires a major maintenance every 4-5 years that will set you back about 7-8K, so they are not for the faint of pocketbook. Some guys do all the work themselves like valve adjustments etc because the 308 is "just" a V-8 I am told -err, ok, but NO chance am I not leaving that to the pros.
In any case, if you have the means - I would highly recommend owning any Ferrari at least once in your life. They are just that special.

Yeah I go back and forth between getting a slightly older ferrari like a 458, or just going with something cheaper like an AMG GT or a 911. This won't be anytime soon, I'm waiting at least for my daughter to grow up and go off to college, so I've got a good 15 years to go.. and who knows what the landscape will look like then

I did have the pleasure of driving a 458 and a 488... and man the 458 is just absolutely special. The 488 is nice, but there's something about the screaming naturally aspirated 458 that just makes it more fun. I totally get what you're saying. They may not be the fastest cars in the world, but the FEELING you get is out of this world. I'm not an emotional guy but man ferrari's bring out some deep feelings like nothing else can.

Yeah, Turbo's are cool and I remember when they first started being avail (my very first car was a Dodge Colt Turbo and that thing was a pocket rocket) but there is something to be said for a screamingly loud flat-cam atmo that really does it for me.

I envy everyone’s garage set up. So clean.

Our multi-use garage is part Car garage, home gym and storage.

Maybe it gives you some ideas .... I have a video of the "installation" as well for the ones interested. You can find the link in my signature

I need to step up my garage game! Mine is fully framed, insulated, drywalled, and painted. It needs either epoxy or swisstrax type matting then I can start putting it all together. Very jealous of some of these setups! Nicely done.

You and me both. Unfortunately my "renovation budget" went to finishing our basement (although that's definitely not unfortunate) and some pretty heavy landscaping out front. Maybe 2022 will be the year for the garage.

Funny that's exactly what we did as well (finished basement and front/back landscaping projects that ended up being WAY more costly than anticipated). I may try some DIY with the garage since it is already a blank canvas.

You should try paying for landscaping in Sweden..... it's like the biggest blackest hole you can find lol.

We did recently pave our drive way in asphalt aprox 65x4m very expensive but so nice to get rid of the loose gravel we hade before.

You could always start with something in the garage, even small changes can make a big change

What's in my 22 x 22-ft two-bay garage? The new 2021 330e, my wife's 2010 Prius, a 2016 R1200RS, and a few pieces of woodworking equipment. The 2013 Tacoma sits under the attached carport.

At least, one of the cars has to leave for any woodworking to occur and there's a seasonal change of position to provide ready access to the MC during nice weather.

What's in my garage

We have a 2011 Infiniti G37xS with less than 52k on the odometer. Blue Slate color in immaculate condition inside and out.
1993 Nissan 300zx Twin Turbo. The Ultra Red Z appears totally stock, but has intake, exhaust and ECU/boost upgrades. Show winner.
Outside at the moment, but alternates with the G in the garage, is my wife's Infiniti QX30. Graphite Shadow exterior with black/mocha two-tone interior.

As you might gather, detailing is one of my hobbies.

When the M340iX arrives, we will bid farewell to the G. It has been the most reliable car I've ever owned.
