Just did this mod today and OMG it's amazing!
Anyone have any luck getting "Sport Plus" to show up in iDrive 7?

You’ll need launcher cheat codes for that. I have no idea how to do it on esys though.

To get it to show up on the idrive, we have to be able to code the head unit module in expert mode. It’s been a while since I checked bimmercode and when I checked last, we couldn’t.

When you rev it when the car isn’t moving, it doesn’t sound different. But when you’re WOT and the car upshifts, and when it downshifts closer to the redline, the exhaust pops and crackles and is audible inside the car in my case. It doesn’t sound as aggressive in sport or sport individual.

Ehh I tried it in full gas from 0-130km/h and it still sounds like normal car without crackles and pops... only it is a little bit more aggressive - upshifting higher than normal sport. It seems that my version has another exhaust than your car. I have never thought that I will tell this but after some months I think that is time to sell this car and buy old f30 😤

OBDLink MX+ seems to be sold out or on back order everywhere. Can I use another one?

I have a muffler delete on my 330 and holy crap. The difference from sport to sport plus is insane. Whenever I give my car any throttle now, all I hear is burbles. It burbles like insane now. Also, once the car is pretty warm and heated, and you rev the car idly up to 4000-5000 rpm you'll get a gunshot burble that's insanely loud. Sport to sport plus was certainly worth it if you prioritize burbles and pops.

Exactly this, but I’m also running Stage 1 on top of what you have, and it’s just dumb how it sounds.

Hi guys From the UK, my xdrive 320d G20 feels very heaving on the steering in comfort or sport (no noticeable difference between the two) can this be coded to be lighter ??
Thanks
Paul.
PS I had a loan car 320d G20 (not xdrive) and this was way lighter steering

Comfort should put the steering configuration to the lightest option already, it can’t get lighter than that.

Just coded Comfort Plus and Sport Plus with ios Beta. Faster shifts and more pops from the exhaust.

Sport plus is worth it just for the pops alone. I love the exhaust now. One of the best on a 4 banger.

Yea it feels very similar in my car too now. When I first got it, sport was very heavy compared to comfort and it was obvious. But now, when I make the switch from sport to comfort, it feels kinda the same. Even when I go to sport individual (where I’ve put steering in comfort) from sport, the steering weight feels very similar. Maybe just a very tiny difference. Earlier, I’m sure it was noticeably different.

I had a loan car 320d not xdrive and the steering was much much lighter, I don't know why the xdrive is heavier ??
Anybody else know why ?

Let me know if anyone has questions or need help! You can activate comfort plus the same way as sport plus (FES_COMFORT_EXPERT I think)
Posting it here as well since it gives us details on how to get it on the idrive as well. All credits to JSaid

Nice,

Now I try and figure out MDM and M Track Mode displays..

I’m fairly certain as long as coding is possible, and if no extra hardware is needed, I can probably find a way to enable track mode display and MDM display options.

I have an extra button on the center console because I do not have 360 view cameras as a feature in my car, perhaps I could try to code MDM to that specific button for activation, not sure yet.. Anyhow I will get back to y’all, let me know if anyone is interested and would like to help me out in breaking down expert mode in HU_MGU.

Only reason I think it will work is because M8 coding on bimmercode has already been achieved.

So after doing some digging, it seems like the M display is only available on newer versions of live cockpit (DKOMBI4 like in the M8). Our cars have the older version DKOMBI2. Someone please prove me wrong.

I have DKOMBI4. I also dig some digging around in DKOMBI4, and I found several things that relate to M Track Mode. Most of these are disabled by default and you have to enable them. I have not, however, find a way to toggle this mode and enable it. See screenshots below:

In the M8C, I believe the M button helps activate track mode? That’s probably why you couldn’t find a way to toggle it?
