I'm already driving a m240i which is perfect for me right now.
It makes a comfortable daily driver that I can take to the track occasionally.
But right now I'm doing track days on my motorcycle, much cheaper and even more fun 😁

Honestly the reason I don't have a Porsche Cayman is I love having back seats. The flexibility of having them come in handy too often.

The last time I tracked a car was when I had my 2015 Corvette Z51. That was an absolute blast.
I did the Ron fellows Corvette school in Nevada and loved it.

Why is your benchmark an M2? Plenty of faster track cars than that for less money.

The steering wheel doesn't even have paddles. That's nowhere near the Supra for my money.

I couldn't find it in the leak diagrams, but it looks pretty big in the spy shots.

If you think it's that simple you really don't know much about the subject.

Yes the supra is going to be similar to a z4 but it's suspension and engine tuning will be different and that can make a huge difference.

Let's not even start on the fact the z4 is a convertible and the Supra is a coupe

Well, I am off the Supra bandwagon, for now. Maybe if the rumored hybrid comes out and is something special I'll have another look. I can't believe they're actually releasing a rebadged z4 with a body kit on it. The car just doesn't seem special anymore.

If I wanted to buy a BMW I know where to go to get one, and it's not on a Toyota lot.

The author of that article didn’t notice the short block has a different part number from the X5 B58C.

I’m genuinely curious how it compares to the Nismo 370z. The 7AT 370z Nismo runs 12.9 - 13.1 at 109 -110 stock and will probably cost 15-20k less (although the drivetrain is not as refined and has a SLA front suspension).
