Winter Tire & Wheel Options from BMW CA
These are the options my SA gave me for winter wheel and tires packages. If you know of any better alternatives, please let me know.
Unfortunately, If I don't buy the package from BMW, I don't get covered for any damage to the tire and wheels, but please hit me up anyway if you know of better options. 1st two options are CAD 3200+tax 3rd option is $3700+tax ** price also includes installation |

Going to use my staggered 792M OEM rims with some Toyo Observe GSI-6 HP that I ordered earlier today. Come spring, I'll get a new set of lighter rims to mount the stock Michelin Pilot Sport 4S.
The whole staggered set of Toyo tires came out to CND$ 1230 tax included. |

If the dealer lets me do that, I would want to get the M Performance 20" 795M Ferric Gray Gloss Milled Wheel come spring, but then I would have to sell my 19" summer tires. |

Yes stock rims are 19s. I ordered the winter tires from pneu à rabais. I just need to find a decent place to unmount the ps4s and mount the Toyos.
I was thinking of getting the 20s for summer but gave up on that idea after I blew a tire from a pothole last week. |

Now that I think of it, I can do rediculous burnouts and run over more nails and get a fresh new set of tires whenever I feel like it. |

FWIW, I just picked up a set of new OEM staggered 796M 18" rims (7.5, / 8.5) with Pirelli Winter Sottozero 3 R-F*tires, TPMs, and Roundels, and I added tire totes, shipped to my home for just about $2385 out of pocket. I used one of the vendors on the site and built my own package.

Does anybody have pictures with the winter wheel/tire package BMW offers? If you can post some pictures I'd appreciate it.
I still can't make up my mind. I really don't like the style of the wheel and being only 18" bothers me. Even the 19" seem small to me. Also, I think they are cast wheels, which I've read are the lowest of quality. If I spend that much money on wheels I'd rather get flow-form or forged wheels which are lighter and stronger. Any suggestions, pics, or recommendations would be awesome! |

I thought u have 374mm brake caliper that comes with track pkg? Then u can't use any of these offering from dealer. They are idiots for showing that to you. If it is the sale guy that sold u the car. He/she must know u have 374mm brake.
Only 19 will be the min fit. IMO, summer wheel should be 20 for 374mm caliper, and winter at least 19. I turned down this pkg when i ordered m340 because 19 inch winter tires are too expensive for me. |

Another option is to get winters tires for the OEM rims through a reputable tire store and mount the summer tires onto summer rims in the spring.
As in my case and as some have mentioned. |

I just ended up getting winters for my OEM 19". I am getting them installed next Friday. The first snowfall freaked me out at first, driving around in the summer tires. I can't say it was that bad. Still a million times better than driving around in any rear-wheel-drive car.

Dealer gave me a price of $3500 for the 796m winter kit with the Pirelli Sottozero 3 tires. The 18 inch 796m fit with the bigger brakes of the track package so it would be a good fit. Any good alternatives or should I just go for it? |
