Select a track in connected music, press the option button in the centre console and you should be given the option to log off.

I have connected music but have never set up Deezer or Napster so how can I select a song to log out and enable Spotify?

Have you tried rebooting iDrive after logging off?

What do you mean? If you can search for songs, you can select and then log off.

In connected music I only have options for Deezer & Napster.
When I open either of them I get the following screen therefore I have never set them up !! Why would I when I subscribe to Spotify which was working fine. |

I understand. In my case I was able to log on using bmw connected drive credentials. I'd try to use those to log on, play a random song to see if it works. After that > go to your apps and update then. Then log out of connected music. After that reboot iDrive.
I wonder if Spotify comes back if you follow these steps in this order.

My details for connected drive will not work within connected music to access Deezer or Napster. To get them I would have to sign up to a premium account and then log in.

Spotify is Back
What's going on?????
I had a new email today confirming my subscription to Connected Music which I purchased on the 18th September. I haven't been able to use Spotify without my phone since the end of August but today its back and working as part the idrive and it works from the cars sim card without my iPhone. |

Maybe anyone can help me. I've connected music (and all other connected app). But till now, I was successful on getting spotify to work. What have I done so far:
-Have iDrive updated from 10/2018 -> 3/2019 -> 7/2019 -Wiped car and started all over -Logged out of Deezer -Switched car off for minutes, hours and even days -Reinstalled my iPhone and set language to Dutch (same as car) Spotify is showing up in the menu settings (to have it shown in the menu or not) but doesn't show up under media (nor apps). Genius suggested playing a song in spotify and then search for the app on the car. Also didn't work. Am I missing something? What else can I do? For those who have Spotify in the Netherlands, your car is also in dutch?

Far as I know I’ve not got connected music on my 330i (still under the store to purchase) but have Spotify as an option under media. Whilst it’s nice to have, not finding functionality great. Seems to forget shuffle after switching off and not being able to download a playlist locally seems shortsighted as the cache doesn’t seem to be huge. Probably go back to using via Bluetooth

Since somewhere in januari, spotify is available in my car. You first need to sign out of any other connected music service.
I did not have a software update but still this thing showed up after a long wait.

Hmmm seems to be an official thing now.
https://www.bmwblog.com/2020/01/29/b...ming-solution/ Though it doesn't seem to be storing anything on the hard drive considering how many drop outs I seem to get with it |
